CALL TO ACTION: HELP PROTECT CHILD PERFORMERS IN ONTARIO

In June 2013, Ontario's child performers protection bill (Bill 71
Protecting Child Performers Act) passed a crucial vote. MPPs at Queen's
Park debated Bill 71 and unanimously supported at second reading. Bill
71 is now closer to becoming law in Ontario, but there is more work to
do...

 

NEXT STEPS FOR BILL 71:

 

The Bill must move to the Standing Committee on General Government
agenda for public hearings and debate. We're hopeful to have it come
back for third reading and Royal Assent in Autumn 2013.
