Additional information:

Inviting submissions for our mainstage production of Leading Ladies by Ken Ludwig - A door-slamming, quick-changing comedy. Auditions being held with the part of "Judith" in Equivocation contained in a separate call.

Meg - late 20s/early 30s.  Charming, innocent, enthusiastic, intelligent, warm. Shakespeare chops and comic ability a must.
Audrey - mid 20s.  Quirky, fun, sweet.  Comic ability and roller-skating skills, both a must.  Bring your best Marlon Brando impression.
Florence - old.  Cranky, savvy, rich, nearsighted.  She might drop dead at any moment... or she might live forever.  Meg's aunt.
Duncan - middle-aged.  The local minister and Meg's fiancé.  Stuffy and conservative, perhaps a bit uptight.  Lives in his own world.  Suspicious of all things theatrical.
Doc Myers - 50s or 60s.  A country doctor.  Grumpy but likeable.  A curmudgeon.  Father to Butch.
Leo - early 40s.  A trained Shakespearean actor.  Charismatic, determined, and somewhat desperate that his time is running out.  Also plays Maxine.  British dialect - RP.
Butch - mid 20s.  Audrey's boy friend and Doc's son.  Not the sharpest crayon in the box, but his heart's in the right place

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
