Additional information: The Classic Theatre Festival is Ottawa Valley's only professional theatre company, operating since 2010 in Heritage Perth, Ontario, an hour between Ottawa and Kingston.  Our mandate is to produce the classic hits of Broadway and the London Stage. 

The Festival is holding auditions for the 2014 season on on Nov. 3 in Ottawa and on Nov. 14 and 15 at the Tarragon Studio in Toronto.  The Toronto dates are part of the ASTRO general auditions.

The plays and roles are as follows:

"Come Blow Your Horn" by Neil Simon
Rehearsals start June 24
Runs July 11 to Aug. 3
Alan Baker - age 33
Peggy Evans - age 22
Buddy Baker (Alan's younger brother) - age 30 (approx.)
Mr. Baker (the Father) - age 60-65
Connie Dayton - age late 20's (approx.)
Mrs. Baker (the Mother) - age 55-60

"Dial M for Murder" by Frederick Knott
Rehearsals start July 22
Runs Aug. 8 to 31
Margot Wendice - age 30's
Max Halliday - age 35-40
Tony Wendice - age 35-40
Captain Lesgate - age 35-40
Inspector Hubbard - age 50-60
Detective Thompson - 30-35

Performance schedule for both plays:
Wed. to Sat. at 8pm
Wed., Thurs. Sat. and Sun. at 2pm

Callbacks will be held on Sat. Nov. 16 and Sun. Nov. 17.  Only those selected for an audition will be contacted.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be
engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
