The Virtual Stage welcomes headshot/resume submissions for future productions of the award-winning sci-fi musical sex comedy "Broken Sex Doll" created by Andy Thompson (book/lyrics) and Anton Lipovetsky (music).

ROLES AVAILABLE:

GINGER - 20's - Lead Role (Soprano)
We are seeking submissions from singing/acting/dancing "triple threats" for the lead role of Ginger, a highly-intelligent futuristic porn star. Must be a strong soprano able to comfortably hit a high-G. Formal vocal and acting training required. Role requires sexually suggestive scenes but no nudity.

MALE ENSEMBLE - 20's to 30's - Supporting Role (Barritone)
This performer plays multiple roles including Billy Crumble, a smarmy talk-show host. Strong singing/dancing/acting ability required.

LOCATION:

Auditions and rehearsals will take place in Vancouver. Though performers from other cities are welcome to apply, an audition in Vancouver will be required. Online taped submissions and offers to Skype auditions will not be accepted.

DATES:

May 26 - June 25, 2014 and entire month of November 2014. Please specify any conflicts upon submission. Other dates in 2015 and beyond are also envisioned.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
