Additional information: aware! productions is holding auditions for the role of "Jack" in its production of Ancient History, by David Ives, at the Toronto Fringe. The role of Ruth has already been cast.

CASTING

JACK: Male, 35, tall, slim and witty

Audition day 1: January 31, 2014 - 10am-3pm
Audition day 2(call-backs): February 2, 1pm-4pm

City: Toronto

Successful applicants will be asked to prepare one comedic monologue, no longer than 2 minutes in length. You may be asked to read from the script at your first audition or at the call-back.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Rehearsals for this Fringe production will take place primarily during the day, Mon-Fri. The first read-thru will be during the week of April 21 (after Easter). A rough rehearsal schedule is as follows:

late April - first read-through
through May - 1 to 2 rehearsals per week (M-F daytime)
through June - 3 to 4 rehearsals per week (M-F daytime)
July 3-14 - Toronto Fringe

*Please ensure you will be available primarily for weekday rehearsals before submitting.

Note: Equity performers will be engaged under the CAEA Festival Agreement.
