----------------------------------------------------------------
The 17th annual Stage Managing the Arts (S.M.Arts) Conference will take
place April 3 to 12, 2014 in Toronto, Ontario. The "Equity day" will be
Tuesday, April 8th.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE:

S.M.Arts Conference Director Janelle Rainville, Founder Winston Morgan
and Conference Associate Jeff Morris host a series of seminars exploring
the many aspects of the craft of stage management. These sessions
provide a comfortable environment for new or experienced stage managers
to hone their skills.

The Conference is designed for both the student stage manager who wants
to know more about their career choice and the experienced stage manager
who is looking for diversification within their field.

As in past years, S.M.Arts will be offering a conference pass which
allows a participant to attend all of the courses for a substantially
reduced rate. The S.M.Arts Conference is supported by a Canadian Actors'
Equity Association Professional Development sponsorship.

The annual Apprenticeship Trust Fund Fundraiser party will be held on
Saturday, April 12th.
