EQUIFLASH [ACTRA-EQUITY RECIPROCAL AGREEMENT]
------------------------------------

ACTRA and Canadian Actors’ Equity Association (Equity) modernized their
shared Reciprocal Agreement in late 2014. The updated Reciprocal Agreement
recognized current practice and addressed the evolution of each
organization. Answers to common questions about the new terms in the
Reciprocal Agreement terms are identified below.

Equity members with questions regarding the interpretation or application of
the Reciprocal Agreement, or about how the these changes may impact a live
performance engagement opportunity, should contact a Business Representative
(busrep at caea.com).

* Elimination of Joining Requirements When Working in the Alternate
Jurisdiction:
Members of Equity who were not members of ACTRA were formerly obliged to
join ACTRA when working in ACTRA's jurisdiction. The same was true for ACTRA
members working in Equity's jurisdiction. This obligation was replaced by
"Appropriate Engagement" terms. Please contact Equity's membership
coordinator (membership at caea.com) for further information regarding joining
requirements.

* Introduction of Appropriate Engagement terms
Both Associations agree to actively promote the expectation that their
respective members engaged or employed in productions under the jurisdiction
of the other should be covered by an appropriate form of contract, either as
Permittees or Regular Members. The appropriate form of contract will be
determined by the Association under whose jurisdiction the production falls.
Please contact an Equity Business Representative (busrep at caea.com) for
further information. Please note: members of either Equity or ACTRA may
still join the other association when engaged or employed in productions
under the other's jurisdiction at the choice of the artist. That said, each
Association's Bylaws on membership may compel additional requirements about
joining which remain in force.

* Set Reciprocal Membership Courtesy Reduction
A member in good standing of Equity joining ACTRA, or a member in good
standing of ACTRA joining CAEA, will be given a $475 reduction in the
initiation fee of the Association being joined. Please contact Equity's
membership coordinator (membership at caea.com) for further information.

* Modernized Preamble, Recognition and Jurisdiction sections
No substantive change.

* Modernized Transfer from One Medium to Another terms
New wording recognizes the myriad of new recording forms.

* Expanded Public Policy Activities
Both Associations will coordinate closely together on public policy issues,
as expressed in the Strategic Alliance Agreement concluded July 16, 2012
(http://www.caea.com/EquityWeb/EquityLibrary/Publications/EQ-ACTRA-StrategicAlliance.pdf).

* Updated Joint Standing Committee and Dispute sections
No substantive change.

* New Reciprocal Agreement Amendment process added
The terms of the Reciprocal Agreement may be amended from time to time by
consent of the Councils of both Associations.
