Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
We encourage submissions from artists of all ethnic and cultural
backgrounds.

Additional information:
Dayton/Walters Casting and Teatro Proscenium are planning a dance audition
for a workshop of a NEW MUSICAL written by Craig Lucas, directed by Moisés
Kaufman with musical direction by Jason Howland and choreography by Bill T.
Jones.

Toronto Workshop Dates
Feb. 29 - April 10, 2016 (with possible extension to April 17, 2016).

SEEKING DANCERS:
A Multi-Ethnic, Multi-Racial cast with strong emphasis on the African
American, and Irish culture, which is reflected in the historical dance
styles required for the show.
The choreography is inspired by the spirit and
rhythms of each culture and requires the highest standard of technique and
athleticism.

African, Hip-Hop, African American social dance style proficiency a plus.
Tap and Irish Step dancing skills also an asset.

We are seeking male and female dancers with strong vocal and acting skills
to complete the ensemble cast of distinct, specific characters.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
