Additional information:

The 2015/2016 Conservatory begins on or about September 15, 2015 and
finishes on or about February 13, 2016. Participants are paid and
offered a contract for the next Stratford Festival season. Candidates
should be, or be willing to become, members of Canadian Actors' Equity
Association. Young professional actors are sought who have completed a
comprehensive, multi-year accredited theatre training program and who
show strong potential for, and are passionate about, classical theatre.
Preference is given to those who have been working professionally post
graduation. The curriculum focus is very much classical theatre, with
text, voice and movement classes all built around Shakespeare and the
classics.

In addition to their training and classes, the Conservatory participants
are involved in two staged presentations directed by seasoned
professionals as well as a number of public play readings that the
participants spearhead themselves.

Here is the link to the Conservatory page of the Stratford Festival
website for more information (it's under the Education & Training tab on
the website):

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
