Audition for theatre play: "Defending the Caveman" by Rob Becker Director/Producer - Pavlik Pravtchev For the audition you will be sent specific character tasks and may be asked to prepare a part from the play.

Play: "Defending the Caveman" by Rob Becker DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN is a hilariously insightful play about the ways that men and women relate to each other and the misunderstandings of their relationship.

In 1996, it became the longest running solo (one-man) play in the history of Broadway. It still holds that record today.

Role Description: Male, between 33-45
Experience: the actor should have: 
- Comedic roles in leading productions, 
- some stand-up comedy experience, but not necessarily to have had a full time stand-up comedian career 

Skills:  
- enormous sense of humor, 
- come up with gags 
- very good improvisational skills, 
- great in physical expression, and 
- fast, unorthodox, unique reactions and facial expressions
