Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: 
Twenty Something Theatre actively encourages submissions from actors of
all cultural backgrounds.

Twenty Something Theatre is holding auditions for "The Out Vigil" by
Julie McIsaac, directed by Sabrina Evertt.

Description: 

Mere hours before the opening of the perilous king crab fishing season,
a young Newfoundlander arrives in Alaska, desperate for a job. A local
fisherman grudgingly agrees to help him out, but past & present collide
when a young woman shows up. A modern fable steeped in maritime lore,
"The Out Vigil" questions our ability to accept the natural world for
all that it is, both beautiful and terrifying.

Casting:

Cal - male, mid-20's, American, king crab fisherman, any ethnicity

Audition Date: Thursday, July 2, 2015

Contract Dates: February 22, 2016 thru March 27, 2016
