NOMINATED CANDIDATES FOR THE 2015 EQUITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS

The 2015-2018 election nomination period has now closed and a complete
record of nominated candidates is listed below.

"Council set itself a goal of filling each seat and ensuring that the slate
of candidates expressed the diversity of Equity’s membership. Thanks to all
the dedicated members who have stepped forward to help us achieve that goal.
Here’s to a proactive and productive term!" said Council President Allan
Teichman on behalf of the Renewal Committee.

Voter instruction kits will be mailed to Regular, Regular - Extended Visa,
and Life members of Equity in good standing in those regions where the slate
of candidates is sufficient to require elections on October 1, 2015. (PLEASE
NOTE: There will be no elections for the regions of Ontario,
Manitoba/Nunavut, Alberta South, and Atlantic). Voting by telephone and
Internet will open on October 7 and continue until 5:00 p.m. PT on October
30. Election results will be announced on e-drive and on EQUITYONLINE on the
evening of October 30.

To ensure continuity, the current Council will stay in place until the new
Council takes office at the beginning of December.

Equity members are advised to check their electoral region and contact
information online in the Members Only zone of EQUITYONLINE at
http://www.caea.com. The last day to update an electoral region or a mailing
address is September 25. All-candidates meetings will be taking place in
September and October.
