Additional information:
The Hockey Sweater - A Musical is a new Canadian musical with book & lyrics
by Emil Sher; music & lyrics by Jonathan Monro; direction by Donna Feore;
based on the book by Roch Carrier. The project will have its world premiere
at Segal Centre for the Arts in Montreal in the fall of 2017. We are
currently only planning auditions for the role of 'Young Roch' to be held in
Toronto on December 19/16. More roles will be announced in the coming weeks.

YOUNG ROCH: Boy (10 yrs old). A single child, with a big heart, he is adored
by his overprotective mother, Roch lives and breathes hockey and has found a
second family in his hockey teammates. VOCAL REQUIREMENTS: (unchanged male
voice. G below middle C (C4) to F above C5 (almost 2 octaves). Must have a
very strong mix between G4 and C5). This role is central to the storytelling
and requires a young artist who is both a strong actor and singer.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
