Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: WCT encourages
submissions from diverse artists of all backgrounds, regardless of race,
color, gender, national origin, age, religion, creed, disability, sexual
orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

Additional information:

Western Canada Theatre is holding General Auditions in Vancouver. Artistic
Director Daryl Cloran will be in attendance.  Details about our 2016/17
season will be announced February 25th with details available on our website
at that time – www.wctlive.ca

General Auditions will take place Saturday, March 11th, 2016.

Successful audition applicants will be asked to prepare the following:
Two contemporary monologues, each NO LONGER than 2 minutes in length.
OR
One contemporary monologue and one song (sung a cappella), each NO LONGER
than 2 minutes in length.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: We are particularly interested in hearing from
artists of diverse cultural background. Those artists who have auditioned
for Mr. Cloran within the last two years need not submit.  You are
encouraged to send an updated resume and/or headshot for our records but you
will not be invited for a general audition this year.

Interested applicants are asked to submit a resume and headshot to
heather at wctlive.ca.  Please put GENERAL AUDITIONS in the subject line.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: 5 pm, Friday, February 26, 2016

We thank everyone for their interest, but only selected applicants will be
contacted to arrange an audition.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
