Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: Theatre Calgary
strongly encourages submissions from artists of all cultures and
ethnicities.

Additional information: Artists are invited to submit their headshots and
resumes for General Audition consideration who:
•    Have completed a post-secondary training program or have previous
professional acting experience (as an adult).
•    Have not been on the Theatre Calgary stage since 2006.
•    Have not had a general audition at Theatre Calgary since 2012.
Please prepare two contrasting monologues – one classical and one modern of
which one is tragic and one lighthearted – totalling no more than 4 minutes.
It does not matter which one is tragic and which one is lighthearted.

PLEASE INCLUDE "GENERAL AUDITION SUBMISSION" IN THE SUBJECT LINE.

*If you have limited availability for these days, please include that
information in your submission for ease of scheduling. We will do our best,
but may not be able to accommodate all requests. Unfortunately we do not
accept video submissions for our general auditions.
*If you do not require a General but wish to send your updated headshot
and/or resume for our files, please feel free to do so to the same
address/email as above, subject line “UPDATED HEADSHOT/RESUME”.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
