provides emergency funding to entertainment industry arts workers in times
of crisis.
We are asking everyone who receives a complimentary ticket invitation to our
performances to consider making a donation to the Actors Fund of Canada as a
way of paying forward to the artists who grace our stage and who have or may
find themselves in difficult straits. You can make your donation through our
Box Office (tax receipts – issued by the Actors’ Fund may be requested at
the time of your donation).
The Belfry will match your donations (up to $1000).

In addition to the above the purchase price of all industry discount tickets
(25% off regular) during this run will be donated by the Belfry to the
Actors' Fund.

The Valley, by Joan MacLeod.
The strength and fragility of everyday people is the cornerstone of Joan
MacLeod’s work and The Valley is her latest gem. In this timely and moving
story, a dramatic police encounter binds four people together – a mother and
her teenage son, a policeman and his wife. How they – and all of us – are
connected is the stuff of great drama.

Directed by Roy Surette and starring Rebecca Auerbach, Colleen Wheeler, Luc
Roderique and Matt Reznek. Stage Manager Caryn Fehr, assisted by Jessica
Macleod. Scenic Design Pam Johnson, Costumes Erin Macklem, Lighting Itai
Erdal & Sound Brian Linds.
