Additional information:
Anne-Marie Woods’s new play She Said/He Said had its World Premiere in the
Spring with Black Theatre Workshop at the MAI and received Great Reviews and
was just one of the main stage productions at STAGES Theatre Festival in
Nova Scotia.

We are looking for an Actor to play the role of HE - a Black Male (Canadian,
Caribbean or African descent) in their mid-30’s – mid 40’s who can also sing
acapella, rap and read/perform spoken word poetry for the Toronto Premiere.
She Said/He Said Explores love and race through the eyes of a comedic yet
complex relationship between the two main characters SHE and HE using
comedic monologues, spoken word, songs, music, movement and dramatic scenes.
This play will have its Toronto debut in September 14th-18th 2016 at AKI
Studio Theatre. (7 shows in 5 days)

If you are chosen for an audition you will have to learn a song and
monologue from the play as well as a song and monologue of your choice.
