Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
Equity and diversity are factored into every casting decision at the
Storefront Theatre. We encourage and welcome submissions from artists of all
genders, ethnicities and abilities.

Additional information:
The Storefront Theatre is now accepting audition submissions for their
2016/2017 season. Visit www.thestorefronttheatre.com for detailed
descriptions of each production.

*These auditions are facilitated by the Storefront Theatre, as an
opportunity for all directors/producers in the season to see artists for
casting consideration.  Artists cast in a particular show will be engaged by
the company/collective producing that production.*

Candidates have two choices for audition format:
One monologue of your choosing
OR
Candidates may submit as a duo if two auditioners wish to do a scene
together.

In addition to a monologue/scene, we would like you to each bring in a
“special skill,” as defined by you! Skilled speaker of a lost language?
Astrophysics enthusiast? Great! We want to get to know you through this
skill.

If you are submitting as a duo please send only one e-mail with both
performers' resumes/photos, and please indicate a preferred time of day.
Please also indicate your CAEA membership status.

Monologues must be no longer than 2.5 minutes, scenes no longer than 5
minutes.

We would like to thank all applicants for their submissions. We will only
contact those applicants to whom we are able to offer an audition.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
