2016-2019 NATIONAL BALLET OF CANADA AGREEMENT NOW UP FOR RATIFICATION

Equity is pleased to report the successful conclusion of negotiations with
the National Ballet of Canada for a renewed three-year agreement. The
proposed amendments for the 2016-2019 National Ballet of Canada Agreement
(NBCA) are now subject to ratification by the affected Equity membership.

Regular, Regular - Extended Visa, Life and Associate (Apprentice) Equity
members, in good standing and engaged under the 2013-2016 NBCA, are eligible
to vote on the proposed changes. The ratification vote will take place by
MAIL ONLY.

Proposed financial increases for the 2016-2019 NBCA are 2% in each year of
the NBCA. All other monetary amounts fixed for the term of the Agreement
increase by 6% immediately. The ratification voting package includes
detailed explanations regarding all of the negotiated amendments. We
encourage members to read this document thoroughly.

Equity members are advised to mail their ratification ballot by Monday, July
11, 2016 in order to ensure that it is received in time to be counted. Only
ballots received in Equity's National Office by 5:00 p.m. ET on Thursday,
July 28, 2016 will be counted. The 2016-2019 NBCA will take effect
immediately upon a successful ratification and the terms of the new
Agreement will be retroactive to July, 1, 2016.

Any eligible voter who does not receive a ratification package by Friday,
June 27, 2016 should email Equity at communications at caea.com or call the
