Kurt Reis, formerly Artistic Director of the Manitoba Theatre Centre in
Winnipeg and Artistic Director of CAST, Centre for Actors Study in Toronto
for twenty years, is now offering free acting classes to members of Equity.

These classes will be held at PAL, the Performing Arts Lodge at 110 The
Esplanade at 7:00 pm. on Sundays or Mondays.

Though his music can be musically and lyrically complex, Sondheim is a
terrific example of a composer/lyricist for actors to work on, because as he
famously said, 'Content dictates form'.

Each participant will be assigned a Sondheim song to prepare and memorize
for class. This song will be specifically tailored to the actor themselves,
and be technically appropriate for an audition scenario.
