Additional information:
The Arts Club Theatre Company is seeking experienced actors for the
following roles in MEN IN WHITE by Anosh Irani, directed by Rachel Ditor,
running February 9- March 11, 2017.

HASAN: 17 years old. Madly, passionately in love with cricket. Works at a
chicken slaughterhouse in Bombay.

ABDUL: 30s. The team's star player. Hasan's brother. Loves his brother and
cricket. Illegally works as a cook in a Vancouver restaurant.

HASEENA: Sweet, 16. Studies hard, she buys chicken from Hasan.

TONY: 30s. Team captain. Abdul's best buddy.

DOC: Surgeon from Bombay, late 50s, plays cricket for the club.

SAM: 30s. He has very little talent, but the team allows him to play anyway.

This dark comedy travels between Dongri, a small Muslim town in India, and
a locker room of a Cricket Club in North Vancouver. As the West Coast
players scheme to bring Hasan to Vancouver to help them out of their losing
streak the locker room banter turns ugly as long held prejudices from
within the Indian immigrant community are revealed. The play is about
forgiveness and what it means to belong to a community.

Those selected for an audition will be asked to prepare material from the
script.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
