Additional information:

Driftwood Theatre's Bard’s Bus Tour is an annual summer Ontario tradition,
touring to outdoor venues in over 25 communities for 22 years.

In 2017, Driftwood Theatre will unpack Shakespeare’s great tragedy of
Othello, exploring cultural tokenism and stereotypes, and the experience of
people of colour through the lens of one of Canada’s most important
historical peacekeeping events - the 1974 Turkish invasion of Cyprus in
which Canadian peacekeepers took part.

Rehearsals for Othello will begin in June 2017 in Toronto, with public
performances between July 7 – August 6, 2017. The Bard’s Bus Tour contracts
equity artists under the Independent Theatre Agreement.

Stage Managers are invited to make application by sending a brief cover
letter and resume (as one pdf file) by email to Artistic Director, Jeremy
Smith (jsmith at driftwoodtheatre.com).

Equity members hired will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
