EQUITY IN OTTAWA FOR ARTS DAY ON THE HILL
------------------------------

Equity's Executive Director Arden R. Ryshpan and Senior Projects Manager
Kristian Clarke are joining together with arts advocates from across the
country to make the arts and culture industry a top government priority.

Arden and Kristian will meet with Members of Parliament and Government staff
to advocate on several issues directly and indirectly affecting Equity
members, including support for CBC to broadcast Canadian dance opera and
theatre, increased investment in arts-related infrastructure, and commitment
to a long-term, international arts and culture strategy.
‎
Earlier this year, Equity had the opportunity to meet with Canadian Heritage
Minister Mélanie Joly to discuss these topics. Please see the link to
Equity's exclusive interview with Minister Joly below.
