Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: St Lawrence
Shakespeare encourages submissions from actors of all cultural backgrounds.

Additional information:

I’m sorry we won’t be able to get back to everyone. I wish we could.
Candidates selected for an audition will be notified by December 28th and
asked to prepare one Shakespeare monologue and/or given a scene to read.

Please mention any special skills at all in your cover letter, including if
you sing, dance, play a musical instrument, have stage combat, acrobatic,
busking, or puppetry experience.

Also, please note that we are an outdoor theatre. The space is large and the
work is physically demanding. We do not use microphones so great diction and
strong vocal projection is a must.

Our season consists of The Taming of the Shrew directed by Diane D'Aquila
and As You Like It directed by Richard Sheridan Willis.
Outside dates for the rep shows are June 12th - August 18th. Thanks for your
