Take your craft to a new level with this one-of-a-kind workshop combining
Voice and the "Savage Imagination". Under the guidance of Linklater-trained
voice coach and performer Adam Lane Bergquist, discover how the body and
mind work together to create compelling narratives and characters using
wild, imaginative forces you didn't even know you had. Using prepared and/or
found text, you will learn how to connect with the material in new and
unexpected ways. Enrollment is limited. Workshop to be held at Pacific
Theatre, 1440 W 12th Ave. Vancouver, BC. July 11-13. The workshop is $100 +
GST for non-members, $80 + GST for CAEA members.

This 4-Day ensemble-like training program will take your creative skills to
a new level of kinaesthetic sensibility and openness; and explore creating
original work that incorporates text, movement and music.

Based on Gargantua’s distinct Dynamic Creation model it is a total creative
workout. Participants will generate music, movement and text that they will
structure into new performance elements.
