Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: For this
production, based on the life and times of Louis Riel, an historic figure of
Métis heritage, we are very eager to meet performers equally of Métis or
other Indigenous heritage. Fluency in French and English are essential.
Fluency in Michif or Plains Cree are an asset.

Additional information:
We are currently seeking 1 performer (of any gender) to complete our cast of
5 performers for a remount production of Louis Riel: A Comic-Strip Stage
Play. Performances run Sept 6-10 with further dates a possibility in 2018.
As each performer plays/manipulates a multitude of characters, ease with a
variety of vocal qualities and a refined sense of stage movement are assets.
And of course, a great spirit of play is essential!

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
