Elvis).

Please indicate the role you would like to audition for. We encourage all
ethnicities. If you are selected for an audition you will be contacted by
June 30, 2017 and will be provided with music/sides to prepare.

Casting Breakdown:
NATALIE/ED – Small town tomboy girl who dreams of more. Dresses up as “Ed”
to get closer to Chad.
CHAD – The 'Elvis' character. A motorcycling, guitar-playing,
leather-jacketed roustabout.
SYLVIA  – The owner of Sylvia’s Honky-Tonk. African American.
LORRAINE – Sylvia’s smart, sassy and sweet teenage daughter. African
American.
MISS SANDRA – The caretaker of the town’s museum who captures the heart of
many in the town.
MAYOR MATILDA HYDE – The town’s conservative Mayor.
DEAN HYDE – Mayor Matilda’s teenage son who has spent his youth at military
boarding schools.
SHERIFF EARL – The law in town and a man of few words.
ENSEMBLE (4 men, 4 women) – Must be strong dancers and vocalists. Plays an
assortment of characters and are also are featured in solos, duets, trios
and full company numbers.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
