Studio 180 is holding auditions for KING CHARLES III by Mike Bartlett,
directed by Joel Greenberg.

Charles, Camilla, William, Kate, Harry. One family holds the future of Great
Britain in its hands. But what will the future be? The Queen is dead. The
“King-in-Waiting” finally ascends the throne. Defying centuries of
tradition, Charles boldly attempts to reassert the Crown’s power, landing
himself – and his country – in a royal mess. The play’s subtitle – “A Future
History Play”.

Please note that the play is written in iambic pentameter. We are seeking
performers with significant experience in classical text and British
dialects.

We strongly encourage submissions from diverse artists of all cultural
backgrounds.

We are looking to cast the following:

KATE MIDDLETON: Female, age 30-35.
PRINCE HARRY: Male, age 30-35. Redhead.
TRISTAN EVANS: Male, age 40-55. Prime Minister, genial, tough-minded.
MARK STEVENS: Male, age 40-55. Leader of the Opposition – watch your back.
JAMES REISS: Male, age 55-70. Press Secretary – politically astute.
GHOST OF PRINCESS DIANA et al: Female, age 30-40. Plays various roles.
Flexibility with British dialects required.
SPENCER / COUTTS et al: Male, age: 30-45. Plays various roles. Flexibility
with British dialects required.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
