Spring is here and your national Council representatives are eager to
share with you some recent activities of our association. We are arranging
our third annual Equity Whine and Cheese event and we hope you can attend.

Date: Sunday, June 4
Time: 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Location: Studio D, BMO Theatre Centre, 162 West 1st Avenue

Arden R. Ryshpan, Equity's Executive Director, along with Keith Davidson
(Director of Business Rep Services), Ruth Leggett and Jennifer Riedle
(Equity Business Reps) will be on hand to give a report and answer
questions.

Come to chat with your Council reps, see some friends, let loose on the
state of things and hear about the following:

. Continuing Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives
. Updates on amateur Policy and Fundraiser/Benefit Guidelines
. Our new Dance outreach project
. Advocacy: Quizzing our new BC MLAs on the arts

AND

A special presentation introducing: "Not in Our Space!" Equity's new
Respectful Workspace anti-harassment campaign. PACT President Jay Dodge
will be joining us for this portion of the meeting.

To be followed by friendly banter and general bonhomie. Please join us to
hear the news and-most importantly-tell us what you think.
Input from you, our fellow members, is what makes Equity work.
We look forward to meeting you and sharing good conversation and cheese!
