unanimously approved the creation of the Craig Huff Memorial Bursary.</span></font></span><font

available to forestry students across <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">Canada</st1:place></st1:country-region> who have demonstrated a
strong interest in urban forestry. The bursary will allow successful candidates
to attend the Canadian Urban Forest Conference, held every two years in <st1:country-region
w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Canada</st1:place></st1:country-region>. The
approximate value of the bursary is $2,000.</span></font></span><font size=2

for the City of <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Ottawa</st1:place></st1:City>,
who died prematurely in March 2008. He was well known throughout <st1:country-region
w:st="on">Canada</st1:country-region> for being an urban forest practitioner, a
great supporter of the Canadian Urban Forest Conference and of Tree <st1:place
w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Canada</st1:country-region></st1:place>,
and a longtime member of the International Society of Arboriculture. Well known
in the <st1:City w:st="on">Ottawa</st1:City> community, he became known as one
of <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Canada</st1:place></st1:country-region>’s
preeminent urban forest practitioners, and an advocate for urban forests within
the profession of forestry.</span></font></span><font size=2 color=black
