<span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Our annual SMA conference will be held in Milwaukee, WI September 25-28. The theme for this conference is "What's Brewing in Urban Forestry" and will focus on emerging issues in urban forestry,
the evolving role of the municipal arborist/urban forester, and how urban trees can help address these emerging issues. The Education Committee is very interested in attracting speakers from other disciplines (i.e. engineering, planning, stormwater management,
etc.) to address how urban trees are being used to help them solve their problems. If you are interested in submitting a presentation proposal (or if you know of someone whom you think would be interested), please use the link provided to submit your proposal.
The deadline for proposal submission is Friday, February 28, 2011. Please pass this on to those whom you think would be interested. We look forward to hearing from you.
