In 2008 a committee was formed by the ISA Ontario chapter commonly referred to as the RPAC (Regional Plant Appraisal Committee). With help from Russ Carlson the ISA rep. to CTLA at that time, modifications were made to the Trunk Formula worksheet . In 2010 an installation cost survey was completed. Appraisers are asked to only use the Ontario Supplement to the 8th edition for Species Ratings although other species lists are also provided. The 10th edition of the CTLA guide is not ready and may be very different in terms on guidance to how we appraise trees.
