Plusieurs jeunes arbres ont été complétement défoliés, surtout des tilleuls et des ormes. Je vais suivre la situation de près cette année et voir comment les arbres défoliés vont réagir. Nous n'avons pas de plan de gestion comme tel, mais nous avons émis plusieurs communiqués avec des suggestions aux citoyens de comment gérer le tout. et je n'ai jamais vu des dégâts autant dévastateurs jusqu'à la défoliation des arbres au complet avec dommages/dépérissement à long terme. quinquefolia. </i>Est-ce que vous êtes en mesure de nous faire parvenir des photos par rapport à ces cas? Ça m'intrigue beaucoup. Est-ce que les arbres de petit diamètre (10 cm dhp et moins) sont affectés ou toutes sortes de classes de diamètre? Est-ce que
l'infestation est limitée à un endroit précis ou répandu à travers de votre ville? Dans le cas que votre infestation est grave, peut-être ça serait à propos de communiquer avec l'ACIA pour signaler ce problème

du scarabée japonais au Québec - surtout pour limiter des dégâts sur arbres. La littérature que j'ai consulté semble à indiquer, en bonne partie, que des effets sur des arbres matures sont négligeables à long terme, même si une année a été particulièrement
marquée aux niveau des dommages. Je vois qu'aux États-Unis, le problème semble plus répandu et quelques
<i>university extension services</i> (ex: Iowa State et University of Minnesota) recommandent des traitements d'insecticides en dernier recours. Cependant, le plupart des insecticides ne sont pas homologués au Canada et certains sont interdits dans plusieurs
villes, notamment des produits ayant l'imidacloprid comme ingrédient actif. </span></span></p>

for Japanese beetle in Quebec. As a matter of fact, I have not heard of cases of infestation so extreme that trees have been lost. That is not to say that this problem should be taken lightly. It would be interesting to know the location and size of trees
been affected and if they are exhibiting decline over the medium to long term. Insect monitoring is also key. As for cities with a strategy, I've only found some info on this type of case from Boise Idaho. Their strategy appears to be eradication, not sure
that's feasible in our neck of the woods.
