<p class="MsoNormal">FYI, I am on the organizing committee for the Ont. Prof. Foresters Assn meeting this May in Guelph.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">In this role, I managed to get two foresters from Ohio who developed the Urban Site Index program to deliver a workshop on the program at the end of the OPFA meeting. The USI is a very functional and teachable method to plan tree planting/restoration
in urban contexts (mostly street Trees and the like). I’ve attached some background information on the program.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">If your municipality is interested in having someone attend the workshop on the afternoon of Thursday May 18, let me know. Registration for the conference is open and non-OPFA members can register for just the workshop. If you want to
send someone, I am sure I can make that happen; although I’m not sure of the details right this minute. It will be a good training opportunity.
