<div dir="ltr">Hey Martha, be cautious in using forestry charts and log weights to determine volumes of urban forestry trees. The log of the tree is only part of the total weight.<br><div><br></div><div>You are best to talk with your technicians and get an idea of how much of a truck box your average tree fills up when chipped, that will give you a volume. Average bucket truck boxes are 8 cubic metres. </div><div><br></div><div>As for weight, green chips are usually close to 2.5 cubic metres per tonne (1000kg).
