<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA" style="font-size:14.0pt">My father became an agronomist in the late 40’s, after having studied with the Trappist monks in Oka, Québec. He then worked for the City of Montréal until 1967 and for the City of Québec until
1987, as parks director at the end of his career. He is a founding member of the Québec chapter of the I.S.A. and has been a great ambassador to urban forestry so that municipal administrators come to realize the importance of preserving as well as increasing
the tree canopy.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
