TRCA has been the pioneer partner in ACER in developing this long-term data collection of 10% trees tagged with permanent metal tag<br>
Tags that we make to order have with a planting site 3 letter code, Season initial, year of planting, and unique tree number on a cable tie system large enough for a few years growth.<br>
<br>
TRCA hires summer staff to maintain (weed control, mulch) and remeasure on a regular basis<br>
They order these tags from us when they plan their planting season - we send them the tags on the cable ties on rings for easier use in the field<br>
also do express orders when pians change as we make them here in our office on our big Sterling machine special for aluminum embossing - ( machine is heavy duty - also used in auto vin numbers )<br>
