Michael Rosen </span>of Tree Canada suggested that urban forestry should be reflected in federal policy, as is the case in other G7 countries. The
<span style="color:#3F7723">Federation of Canadian Municipalities </span>called on the federal government to “involve municipalities in the development and delivery of forest pest programs, and provide resources to local governments in instances where municipalities
are directly involved in limiting the spread of forest pests.” <o:p></o:p></span></i></p>
