<div dir="auto"> so we have them call in a bowl and fit the plant is been taken out of the pot in the hole and make sure the bowl three pot widths </div>

<div dir="auto">Also We have them put a shovel handle across the bowl to gauge that the root collar is even the soil underneath the grass just so it’s not too deep</div>
<div dir="auto">I think the problem of Roots strangling themselves is that when taking the plant out of the pot sometimes the roots are in circles inside the pot and they need to be straightened out <span style="color: var(--textColor); background-color: var(--backgroundColor);">before planting.</span></div>

Putting compost or purchased soils in holes where trees are being planted has never been my practice as I’ve understood that this won’t encourage roots to grow outwards and may cause them to become root bound in their amended holes.</span></p>
