We removed concrete panels, dug out large pits and installed 40 street trees on both boulevards of a section of road. Additionally, rather than installing standard metal tree grates, we installed cobblestones around the base to provide a hard surface area while maintaining a decorative theme. We prefer to use cobblestones in selective areas to allow for the expansion of the root flare.
