<div dir="ltr"><div>Hi Joerg - one piece of advice I can offer.</div><div><br></div><div>The best way to ensure that your Bylaws are working for private land is to keep an up to date tree canopy assessment.</div><div><br></div><div>The ideal number is to perform a new assessment no later than 5 years from the last one. Some municipalities wait until 10 years or more. Because of new AI technology, that number has shrunk to as little as 2 years apart.</div><div><br></div><div>You'll be able to quickly identify any gains or losses of tree canopy coverage on private land, even down to the parcel if you have a % goal.
