Dubbed “the Landfill Harmonic,” the ensemble’s instruments are amazing re-inventions, created using materials salvaged from their town’s one industry, an enormous landfill. Cellos are fashioned from oil drums, saxophones made from drainpipes, drumheads from old X-films.
