The global acceptance of the urgency of this risk brought 195 countries together at the Paris climate conference (COP21) in December 2015 to adopt the first-ever universal, legally binding global climate deal. This agreement sets out an action plan to limit global warming to below 2°C this century above pre-industrial levels, and pursue efforts to limit the temperature increase even further to 1.5°C.<br class="">How to get there?
