<P><SPAN lang=EN-US>On Tuesday, January 10<SUP>th</SUP> 2012, in the Champlain Room at City Hall located at 110 Laurier Avenue West, the Housing Services Branch will be submitting a Program Delivery and Fiscal Plan (PDFP) to Planning Committee. The report will include recommendations on how $25.8M from the Investment in Affordable Housing (IAH) for Ontario Program and $17M from existing City housing funds will be allocated over the next four years, ending in 2015.</SPAN></P>

<P><SPAN lang=EN-US>Subject to Council approval on January 25<SUP>th</SUP>, 2012, the Housing Services Branch will release a Request for Proposals (RFP) for 2012 to develop up to 120 dwelling units of affordable rental housing under Action Ottawa and the IAH Program. </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN lang=EN-US>The intent of this RFP is to allocate up to $15M in 2012 funding to facilitate the development of affordable housing. The development of 800 Montreal Road on a parcel of land purchased for $1, under the Surplus Federal Real Property for Homelessness Initiative (SFRPHI), will form part of the RFP. This project is expected to accommodate approximately 70 units. </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN lang=EN-US>The RFP is tentatively scheduled to be released and available on Thursday, January 26<SUP>th</SUP>, 2012, and to close at 4:00pm on Wednesday, April 4<SUP>th</SUP>, 2012. </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN lang=EN-US>There will be two public information sessions to present the details of the RFP process and to answer questions. </SPAN></P>

<P><SPAN lang=FR-CA>Le mardi 10 janvier 2012, dans la salle Champlain de l’hôtel de ville du 110, avenue Laurier ouest, la Direction des services de logement présentera un Plan financier et de mise en œuvre au Comité de l’urbanisme. Le rapport comprendra des recommandations sur la façon dont les 25,8 millions de dollars provenant du Programme d’investissement dans le logement abordable de l’Ontario et les 17 millions de dollars provenant du fonds de la Ville pour le logement seront attribués au cours des quatre prochaines années, se terminant en 2015.</SPAN></P>

<P><SPAN lang=FR-CA>Sous réserve de l’approbation du Conseil le 25 janvier 2012, la Direction des services de logement diffusera une Demande de proposition pour 2012 afin de développer jusqu’à 120 unités d’habitation locatives à prix abordable sous Action Ottawa et le Programme d’investissement dans le logement abordable. </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN lang=FR-CA>L’objectif de cette Demande de proposition est d’allouer jusqu’à 15 millions de dollars en financement pour 2012 afin de faciliter le développement de logements abordables. Le développement du 800, chemin Montréal sur une parcelle de terrain achetée pour la somme d’un dollar, en vertu de l’Initiative à mettre des biens immobiliers excédentaires fédéraux à la disposition des sans-abri, fera partie de la Demande de proposition. On prévoit l’ajout d’environ 70 unités. </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN lang=FR-CA>On estime pouvoir diffuser la Demande de proposition et la rendre disponible le jeudi 26 janvier 2012; la date de clôture sera le mercredi 4 avril 2012, à 16 h. </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN lang=FR-CA>Deux séances d’information publiques auront lieu pour présenter les détails entourant le processus de la Demande de proposition et répondre aux questions. </SPAN></P>
