<div>After four years as the Residential Services’ Program Manager for the Housing Services Branch, Marc Provost has accepted a new position as the Child Care Services’ Program Manager for the Community Agency Services Branch. During his tenure with the Housing
Services Branch, Marc was vigilant in his management of the 24/7 operation of the City’s two family shelters (including the offsite motel services) and the coordination of rooming houses. He was equally committed to overseeing the community-based emergency
shelters and the City’s Emergency Response Lodging Plan. </div>

<div>Over the years, Marc cultivated positive relationships with our many housing sector and government partners, as well as with his colleagues within the City. This new challenge for Marc furthers the Social Services Department’s integration agenda by expanding
the sharing of knowledge, experience and expertise within our branches. Marc will begin this new role effective February 21<font size="1"><span style="font-size:7.3pt;"><sup>st</sup></span></font>, 2012 and I will inform you on his successor in the near future.

<div><font face="Tahoma" size="2"><span style="font-size:10pt;">Après quatre ans en tant que Gestionaire du Programme des Services Résidentiels pour la Direction des Services de Logement, Marc Provost a accepté une nouvelle position comme Gestionaire du Programme
des Services de Garde pour la Direction des Services aux Agences Communautaires. Au cours de son mendat avec la Direction des Services de Logement, Marc a été vigilant dans sa gestion des opérations 24/7 des deux abris pour familles de la Ville (y compris les
services hors site de motels) et la coordination des maisons de chambres. Il a été tout autant dévoué à l'encâdrement des abris d'urgence communautaires et le plan d'hébergement d'urgence de la Ville.<br>
<br>
Au fil des ans, Marc a cultivé des relations positives avec de nombreux partenaires dans le secteur du logement et du gouvernement, ainsi qu'avec ses collègues au sein de la Ville. Ce nouveau défi pour Marc favorise l'initiative d'intégration du Département
des Services Sociaux en développant le partage des connaissances, expérience et expertise au sein de nos Directions. Marc commencera son nouveau rôle le 21 Février 2012 et j<font face="Arial">e vous informerai </font>au sujet de son successeur dans un proche
avenir.<br>
