understanding
of the interpretation of legislation <div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:small;display:inline">around Landlord and Tenant law and how it applies to tenants who
are at risk of eviction due to mental health issues and/ or addictions.
It is open to front line workers of non profit agencies who work with
those who are experiencing homelessness.

<p class="MsoNormal">The workshop provides an overview of the Ontario
Human
Rights Code, the Residential Tenancies Act, and the duty to accommodate a
tenant who has mental health issues and/ or addictions.<span>
</span>It demystifies the process of how the Board reaches its decisions, and
describes circumstances that must be considered prior to
making a decision to evict a tenant.</p>

The workshop provides practical information
illustrated by case examples. The presentation also includes a special
‘Support Worker’s Section’
geared specifically to the issues that workers may face when
dealing with tenants who are at risk of eviction. This workshop is
