This year’s festival will be taking place on the weekend of June 25-28 (races will be held on June 27th and 28th).<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#2F5597'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#2F5597'>Teams consist of 14-20 paddlers, one steersperson and one drummer. Most teams also include a few spares on their team roster in case people get called away during the festival. If you plan to have a mixed team keep in mind that you need a minimum of eight female paddlers. Your registration includes two free practices for your team so that your team can get on the water together with a coach at the Rideau Canoe Club before the festival. These practices will take place during the month leading up to the festival and are 55 minutes in length. You will be able to select the times and dates of these practices based on your team’s preference and availability. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#2F5597'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#2F5597'>Our registration fee is $1400 + HST ($1582) per team, which works out to be around $63 per paddler with 25 people on your team. Your team is guaranteed two races on Saturday, June 27th and the top 75 mixed teams and top 24 women’s teams advance to Sunday for a second day of racing.
