Incidents of hate crimes across the country and here in Ottawa demonstrate the need for a coordinated, collaborative approach to address this serious community safety issue. Hate crimes are not only physical.
They also carry an element of psychological harm, which ultimately affects quality of life for victims and the targeted community. Join us as we learn from law enforcement officials, human rights experts and members of the LGBTQ community on integrated approaches
to preventing, enforcing and responding to hate crimes in Ottawa.
