<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA" style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">In August 2014, the provincial and federal governments announced an extension to the Investment in Affordable Housing for Ontario (IAH) program, providing an additional $801M over
six years to facilitate the delivery of new affordable and supportive housing projects and programs in Ontario. In December 2014, under the IAH 2014 Extension, the City of Ottawa was allocated $48.3M over 6 years (2014-2020).
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA" style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA" style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">In 2014, Council approved the City’s capital spending plan and housing priorities for the Investment in Affordable Housing (IAH) for Ontario Extension program followed by approval
in 2016 of the Social Infrastructure Fund (SIF) IAH program $19.2M (2017-2019). In 2017, the Province of Ontario also announced and funded a new initiative entitled Home for Good (HFG) allocating an additional $19.16M to assist with the development of new
supportive housing.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA" style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA" style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The most recent Affordable Housing RFP closed on October 4<sup>th</sup>, 2017 with the Action Ottawa Selection Committee meeting in early November. The RFP allocated funding under
the IAH and HFG programs. A number of proposals were received for consideration and the Housing Services Branch would like to thank all applicants that submitted proposals under the Summer 2017 RFP. The significant time and effort invested in the proposals
was reflected in the quality of projects and demonstrates the dedication of our partners in developing affordable and supportive housing in the City of Ottawa.

</span>provides affordable housing to residents, including seniors, parents, children, couples, singles and persons with special needs, within many communities across the City of Ottawa. OCHC proposes to replace end-of-life-cycle housing at 811 Gladstone Avenue
with a new, mid-rise apartment building containing up to 148-units<span style="color:#1F497D">.</span> The mixed-composition building will have both market and affordable rental units geared towards seniors and families. 811 Gladstone is the first phase of
a larger redevelopment strategy for OCH’s properties at Rochester Heights.</span><span lang="EN-CA">

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span lang="FR-CA" style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">La Société de logement communautaire d’Ottawa (SLCO) fourni des logements abordables aux résidents – aînés, parents, enfants, couples, célibataires et
personnes avec besoins particuliers – dans de nombreuses communautés d’Ottawa. La SLCO propose de remplacer les logements de soins en fin de vie du 811, avenue Gladstone par un nouvel immeuble de moyenne hauteur<span style="color:#1F497D">
</span>pouvant contenir jusqu’à 148 appartements. L’immeuble à composition mixte offrirait des logements locatifs abordables et selon le marché pour les aînés et les familles. Le 811, avenue Gladstone est la première étape d’une stratégie de réaménagement de

est de créer une communauté inclusive en préconisant l’acceptation, la compassion et la prestation de soins. Cet organisme propose d’aménager un nouvel immeuble de quatre étages et de 42 logements en milieu de soutien au 765, chemin de Montréal. Le projet
prévoit du personnel 24 heures sur 24, du soutien médical ainsi que d’autres programmes.

et d’autres intervenants, des services fondés sur des données probantes pour favoriser une expérience positive. L’ACSM propose d’acheter huit (8) copropriétés à une chambre vacantes à divers emplacements de la ville pour offrir des logements locatifs dans
des quartiers dont les résidents ont des revenus variés. Les clients de ces unités bénéficieront d’une gestion de cas intensive dans le cadre du modèle Logement d’abord. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
