<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA">Social Development Partnerships Program Children and Families will accept funding requests related to this Call for Concepts (CFC) until July 20, 2018 at 2pm Pacific time.
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA">The projects to be funded will explore, test and develop innovative approaches that will support the provision of services related to early learning and child care. They will target children under the age of six and their
families. The agreements will have a value of up to $1 000 000 and will end no later than March 31, 2020.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA">Eligible applicants for this CFC are non-profit organizations, provincial and territorial entities, and Aboriginal organizations. They must have a mandate that focuses on the learning and care of young children, or have
a partner in their project with that mandate. Please also note that priority could be given to projects specifically targeted at Aboriginal families, families from official language minority communities, low-income families and families of Newcomers.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA">This competitive process will take place in two stages, the first of which is this CFC. Its objective is to invite interested applicants to submit a project statement on an innovative approach. Applicants whose project
statement is selected will be invited to submit a detailed project proposal in the fall of 2018. Projects should start at the beginning of 2019.
